Hi, my name is Josh. I am 16 and the founder of Autism Aid. I live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I am a junior in high school. I am into sports, academics, and video games. I love playing basketball and swimming with my brother and cousins. I live with my loving parents, older sister, and younger brother. Oh, and a really cute Maltese. Having an autistic sister meant I have missed some of the usual childhood experiences. I didn’t see a movie in a theater until I was 12! Despite this, I have had a memorable childhood with great lessons learned along the way. I grew up as a Christian all my life, and it shaped my beliefs and morals. I started this non-profit because of my sister who has severe autism. I have lots of time to grow, and many opportunities will come as I work with my family to aid in the lives of people with autism and their families.

Hi, my name is Sam. I am 15 years old, I live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I am going into my second year of High School. I like to play basketball with my brother and my friends. I also enjoy swimming during the summer. We got a very small white dog a few years ago. Growing up with an autistic sister isn’t very easy, and it takes a lot of patience. I have been a Christian my entire life, which set the foundation for my character. My brother is the founder of this non-profit, and I am joining as a Co-Owner about a year after its founding. I have many more things to learn and am looking forward to helping others in a similar situation to our family. I am planning to provide resources and writing blogs to create more awareness about autism. Our main goal is to fundraise for special needs families.
