This summer marks the first Autism Aid Fundraiser. We are very excited for this chance to give back to the autism community. It took a while to set things up. We had to register our nonprofit with the IRS and Autism Aid is now an official 501(c)(3). I had no idea how tough that was going to be, but we got through it. Next we had to coordinate with Life Path Systems. If you have visited the Contribute tab before, you’ll know that we made a $500 donation to Life Path Systems a few months back. Among other services, Life Path Systems helps families with special needs by supplying them with necessities such as diapers and baby wipes. However, as any parent would know, diapers can be expensive so Autism Aid will be running a supply fundraiser for Life Path Systems. Our first fundraiser will be through Amazon’s Gift List service. Donors can purchase items on the gift list and have it sent to an address for collection. As a 501(c)(3), we provide donations receipts for your tax-deductible donation.
